We want to make replacing your gas strut as quick and easy as possible. Before placing your order, here are a few things to check:
- Extended Length: Measure from the center of one hole to the center of the other.
- Diameter: Measure across the rod and the canister.
- Force: Look for a number with an ‘N’ after it, like 300N.
- End Fittings: Our struts come with ball cup end fittings, either plastic or metal, depending on the diameter.

If you have recently purchased your strut and it's not strong enough, we can up-gas it to the pressure that you require. Contact Us
If it's an older strut that no longer holds, we recommend that you replace the gas strut.
What You Need to Know About End Fittings
To ensure the right fit, here’s a quick guide to our end fittings:
- 6/15 & 8/18: Plastic ball cups, 10mm diameter, 18mm length, M6 thread
- 10/22: Metal ball cups, 13mm diameter, 21mm length, M8 thread
- 14/28: Metal ball cups, 13mm diameter, 21mm length, M10 thread
If you’d like to change your end fittings: Make sure the new fitting matches both the length (to avoid altering the strut's extended length) and the thread size (for easy screwing on).

- Ensure the thread on the gas strut matches the end fittings you want
- Check the length of the end fitting matches the end fitting you want or it will change the Extended Length of your Gas Strut.

- Made-to-Order Items: If your order includes custom-made struts, they’ll take a bit longer—usually 10-14 days to make before we ship them.

Physical Defect
On the rare chance your gas strut arrives with a defect or develops one within a year, just send us a quick photo. We’re happy to replace it (and ship it express) or give you a refund—whichever you prefer. If we need the item back, don’t worry, we’ll cover the return shipping.

If your gas strut isn’t working quite right, give the installation a once-over and try a quick clean-up. This often clears up minor issues. If it’s still not right, we’ll gladly replace it or provide a refund. If we ask you to send it back, we’ll handle the return shipping costs.
Other Issues (Including Delivery)
We’re here to help with replacements or refunds if:
- Your gas strut arrives damaged or goes missing during transit.
- You receive a product that doesn’t fit your specific needs. (If this is due to incorrect info on your end, return shipping may be at your cost.)

Additional Details
- Incorrect Orders: Ordered the wrong gas strut? We accept exchanges within 14 days of purchase. There may be a service fee since each strut is customized to your needs.
- High-Pressure Struts: Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on struts with high pressure levels as they can’t be reused.
- Return Timeframe: Items returned after 30 days cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged.
- Freight: Return shipping is your responsibility unless the product is faulty.
