Contact with Gas Strut was great and made the selection of the correct and appropriate strut a simple task. Calculations of weight, size and opening gap were taken care of in a simple "fill in the gaps" equation. I have used the struts for a lift up panel on the verandah to access a cellar in the old pub we have renovated. It works a treat.
