How To Measure Your End Fitting

All our gas struts come with ball cup end fittings.  The standard end fittings make up the Extended Length of the gas strut.

1. Measure The Diameter

The diameter is measured (mm) across the widest part of the hole.

2. Measure the Length

The Length is measured (mm) from the middle of the hole to the end of the thread

Our 6/15 & 8/18 diameter gas struts come with Standard Plastic 10mm Diameter, 18mm Length, M6 Thread Ball Cups.

Our 10/22 diameter gas struts come with Standard Metal 13mm Diameter, 21mm Length, M8 Thread Ball Cups.

Our 14/28 diameter gas struts come with Standard Metal 13mm Diameter, 21mm Length, M10 Thread Ball Cups.
